Worked as a server at a chain restaurant and I just graduated college. I’m moving back home next week (I live out of state) and told them that next weekend is my last day here.
They didn’t accept my resignation and said they need a 2 weeks at least. The atmosphere got sour and I could tell nothing was going to happen. Never really liked the job and I was only going to be there for maybe like 2 more shifts.
So I just walked out. Didn’t really care
I accepted that this would burn a bridge.
